CONVENTIONS

In 2019 we for the first time started to organize Conventions. Similar to our concept of the Industry Forums, the events are thematically aimed at industries with which we have been familiar for many years due to our activities as a market research and consulting company. The kick-off was provided by the 1st Vienna Window Convetion. An overview of the following events can be found below.

In contrast to our Industry Forums, the focus is less on the individual markets with regard to their quantitative developments: It lies on the respective industry experts, who share innovations strategies, product innovations, digitalization strategies and market-specific success concepts with our participants. Whereby the personal exchange between the speakers from all areas of the industry and the participants through our open discussions is important to us.

1st. Vienna Door + Gate Convention

On October 17, 2019, we will be presenting the Vienna Door + Gate Convention for the first time in the prestigious ambience of the Palais Coburg in Vienna. In addition to TOP Key Note speakers, you can expect compressed information and panel discussions.

The program takes up the most important aspects of the markets for interior and exterior doors, as well as fire doors and gates. Under the motto Strategies I Visions I Innovations we together with our experts meet the issues of our time and look at new developments and changes in the spectrum of product diversity:

Markus Hütt (JELD-WEN) and Mark Hámori (MACO) will introduce successful strategies of their companies and look at future potential in the field of product innovations. DI Markus Eichhorn-Gruber (IBS) will present innovations regarding standardization and will speak about their influence on the market. Afterwards, we reflect on what has been said in an open panel discussion.

In the afternoon we will look on current and future developments in the field of Smart Automation with Oliver Rilling (SOMFY).  And with Kai Teckentrup (TECKENTRUP) and Ewald Marschallinger (ASSA ABLOY) we will close the circle of our TOP Key Notes. Both of them also will discuss trends and future potential: The former from the point of view of a market-leading manufacturer, the latter from the perspective of a market-leading supplier. After that we will meet the challenges of tomorrow in a second panel discussion.

1. Pleasure Boat Congress

On 18 October 2019, we will be launching our 1. Pleasure Boat Congress in Milan, Italy, with the motto “Sailing Towards a Successful Future”.

Our goal is to make the Pleasure Boat Congress an annual setting for debates on various topics that heavily influence the boating industry in terms of strategy and innovation. This year, we are planning to welcome a diverse audience made up of manufacturers, suppliers, boating/yachting enthusiasts, as well as charter and associated business owners.

The development of the boating market is facing a host of challenges, ranging from the current macroeconomic environment, customer preferences, and the (waning) interest in boating among the younger generation, to various technical innovations in materials, engine efficiency, design, and so forth.

Not forgetting the limited space in marinas, the expectations of “sailors” and severe weather, our convention, which aims to identify the best strategies and visions for the future, will serve as the ideal platform for the ongoing success of your business – whether you are a supplier or yacht manufacturer.

Milan has been selected as the most accessible city for manufacturers and attendees from all over Europe and across the globe. This luxurious city also offers many additional perks of delicious cuisine, boutique shopping, and a wealth of cultural destinations.
